CM Punjab Honorarium Cards for Imam Masjid

Overview

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated the Rs25,000 Honorarium Card scheme for imams masajid, calling it a landmark welfare initiative.

The program will benefit around 70,000 imams across Punjab, ensuring a monthly transfer of Rs25,000 directly into their bank accounts.

The card issuance process will be completed by February 2026, after which payments will be made exclusively through Bank of Punjab ATMs. The Punjab government will spend over Rs1.2 billion annually on the scheme.
