Benazir Hunarmand Programme: Free Skills Training

The Benazir Hunarmand Programme (بینظیر ہنرمند پروگرام) provides free vocational training to people registered with the Benazir Income Support Programme. Registration is open now, with no closing date announced.

Registering is not the same as being selected. Applications are reviewed, and only eligible candidates are chosen.

Who is eligible

• Registered in the BISP Dynamic Registry
• Minimum education Matric (10th grade)
• Aged 18 to 40
• One person per family only

What you get

• Market-driven vocational training
• Learning materials
• Certification recognised by NAVTTC and aligned to the National Vocational Qualifications Framework
• Stipends where applicable — the amount is not published, so ask at your tehsil office rather than relying on figures you see elsewhere

• Register online at hunarmand.bisp.gov.pk
• Or visit your nearest BISP Tehsil Office

The online form asks for your candidate type, course type, education, employment status, training district and any prior skills.

Documents you need

• Original, valid CNIC
• An active mobile number

Watch out for fraud

BISP states plainly that there is no fee for registration or survey in any BISP scheme, and that if anyone demands money in the name of BISP, they are misleading you.

The only official SMS number is 8171. Any message from a different number is fraudulent. The BISP helpline is 0800-26477.

Training in Punjab is delivered in partnership with the Punjab Skills Development Fund. Those specific terms apply to Punjab and may not apply in other provinces.
