Punjab Flagship Update: CM Livestock Asset Transfer to Rural Women Scheme

The Government of Punjab has listed CM Livestock Asset Transfer to Rural Women Scheme under flagship projects.

The "Livestock Asset Transfer to Rural Women in South Punjab" initiative is aimed at alleviating poverty and providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to women with experience in livestock management but limited resources. Through the PITB developed Livestock Asset Transfer to Women App, women specifically widow and divorced women can register for livestock asset transfer such as heifers. Women can apply for the scheme by entering basic details such as CNIC, name, marital status etc. After registration on this app, the application undergoes for further scrutiny and physical verification. After verification, livestock assets are transferred to the successful applicants.
